Job Summary: Company: Live Nation Music Uk Ltd Department: Finance Location: Farringdon, London Reports to: Head of Tour Accounts Working Hours: 9am - 5pm or 10am - 6pm - Some antisocial hours including occasional evening and weekend work throughout the year Job Type: Permanent Role Description An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join the Tour Accounting division of Live Nation Music. The main purpose of the role is to provide business support to the Promoters for their events which range from club shows, Theatres to multi date arena tours, stadiums and outdoor events throughout the UK and Europe. The role will work directly with the Promoters and their Assistants and also the wider LN Finance department throughout the show costing / budget and forecasting stages, this will include preparing profit & Loss show accounts, reviewing contracts, ascertaining foreign currency requirements across tours and also providing reconciliation support post event. Strong interpersonal skills are required, as the role will work closely with cross functional departments including marketing / ticketing / production and our show reps. There will be instances whereby some tours require the presence of the Tour Accountant on site for settlement with Artist Management / Agents and therefore an element of travel is required across the UK. Who you are Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience - Experience in concert promotions, event management or music venue management - Excellent numeracy skills with attention to detail and proficiency in using excel at intermediate or above. - Knowledge of and accounting for FEU, this will also Include Non-resident withholding taxes - consulting with tour accounting staff, local promoters, and artist representatives to meet withholding tax requirements in all jurisdictions. - Ability to plan and organise and manage your own workload - Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects concurrently. - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work to tight deadlines in a pressured environment when required. - Ability to self-motivate and work as part of a team and liaise with cross functional departments. - Some travel within UK/Europe may be required. What the role includes - Preparation of full profit and loss account for tours from contractual stages to finalisation of account and obtaining Promoter signoff approval. - Dealing with tour representatives on every aspect of the show settlement. Starting with the provisional through to the ("NOS") settlements, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of figures submitted. - Analyse/investigate material variances to projections. - Working on special projects that may require Finance Assistance. - Ensuring the accuracy of tour reporting in all aspects including providing appropriate support for tour settlements across the UK & Europe. - Dealing with ticket revenue - Dealing with the Marketing, PR and promotional spend - Dealing with Venue Personnel to obtain final settlements for shows. - Working through tour floats and PLEO, our expenses tracking tool. - Payments including obtaining purchase orders where required, approving payments of show invoices as appropriate through our system. - Facilitating Artist deposit and balance payments. - Show account reconciliation to the general ledger.
