Actemium Mechanical specialise in the bespoke design and fabrication of process related projects
This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Administrator to join our rapidly growing Mechanical Engineering team. You will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of projects and programmes designed to deliver strategic company objectives. The assigned projects must be managed, critically evaluated and reviewed in a continuous improvement process and shaped in close collaboration with the Sector Leads and Contract Engineers to ensure consistent delivery against objectives and specification.
Working predominantly in the Feed, Food & Beverage and Automotive sectors. Other sectors in development include, Nuclear, HVAC, Waste & Renewables.

1. Fully involved with new Customer Projects from initial development to site installation/commissioning and internal development projects.
2. Ongoing support for projects whilst in fabrication as and when required
3. Liaising between Customers, Suppliers, Design Engineers, and Workshop.
4. Supporting the successful delivery of our Engineering project portfolio to ensure achievement of core company and functional objectives.
5. Responsible for the quality of reporting and communication for assigned projects to programme leads and the wider Product Engineering team.
6. Ensuring the project development is within schedule
7. Motivate, guide and hold to account the ‘project delivery’ teams.
8. Compile and submit status reports to key stakeholders and management.
9. Drive continuous improvement throughout the projects.
10. Capture and distribute project related meeting minutes and track assigned actions through to closure.
11. Attend internal departmental meetings, taking notes, following through with dates and responses
12. Ability to work within a “start-up” culture where creativity and “thinking outside of the box” is welcomed.
13. Possess good organisational skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks at one time in a fast pace working environment
14. Have good communication skills – in written and spoken English
15. Be confident in working with a computer, with a good knowledge of MS Office – Word, Excel and PowerPoint being important
16. Be confident working with Microsoft project
17. GCSEs in Maths and English would be advantageous
18. Have an eye for attention to detail
19. Willing to take responsibility for allocated tasks and actions, be able to work on own initiative as well as being a valuable member of our small, busy team
20. Be flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks, as required
21. Keen to learn and develop to support with health and safety, environment, quality aspects of the business.
