Electrical / Mechanical Project Engineers

My client is looking for 4 Project Shift Engineers either electrical or mechanically biased to be based in a commercial bank in Liverpool Street. The successful candidates will be electrically or mechanically biased (C&G / NVQ) with a proven track record in Project Works (Data Centre / Banking / Critical Environments).
The project support engineer will be required to report into the technical project manager on a daily basis; this will differ in the evening when the project support engineer will be required to report into the onsite critical shift manager.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Monitoring and evaluating the financial performance of our projects and costs.
2. Forecasting and managing the monthly process for this.
3. Monthly reporting and analysis of financial performance.
4. Financial analyses of projects.
5. Approve Safe Systems of Work (SSoWs) and ensure contractor compliance.
6. Issue permits and conduct health and safety assessments for project activities.
7. Monitor contractors to ensure adherence to SSoWs and safety standards.
8. Set up and maintain the project risk and issues strategy and processes, ensuring any escalations are dealt with by the appropriate individual or group within the project.
9. Collate risks, opportunities, and issues from all workstreams at project level, analysing and recommending actions.
10. Analyse all significant risks and make recommendations or initiate corrective action as appropriate.
11. Inspect and approve completed works for quality and compliance.
12. Escort contractors and ensure compliance with site safety protocols.
13. Assess risk assessments and provide appropriate permits for safe execution.
14. Execute electrical isolation procedures and ensure safety protocols are followed.
15. Oversee the replacement of fan coil units, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
16. Supervise the removal and installation of chillers, ensuring safe handling and functionality.
17. Lead pipework modifications to enhance system performance and compliance.
18. Manage the replacement of electrical boards, ensuring reliable power distribution.
19. Plan and install valves, adhering to engineering standards and safety regulations.
20. Oversee BMS upgrades, integrating new systems with existing infrastructure.
21. Work with internal teams and contractors to ensure project success.
22. Ensure projects comply with health and safety regulations and standards.
23. Monitor project quality and address issues promptly.
24. Manage project budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
