Shift Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider - Healthcare Environment – 4on 4off (Days & Nights) - West London - £42,000+ OT
CBW Staffing Solutions is excited to present an excellent opportunity for a Shift Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established building services company based in London. This role is based at a state-of-the-art clinical research facility in Hammersmith, West London, where you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of the building's systems. Working with a team of four engineers, you will be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance tasks, collaborating closely with a skilled on-site team and reporting to a senior engineer. This is a hands-on role that offers a dynamic work environment where you’ll be contributing to the upkeep of important systems within a Healthcare setting. The successful applicant should have a strong grasp of Facilities Maintenance and hands-on experience in building maintenance. In exchange, the company provides an attractive salary of £42,000, with opportunities for overtime, ongoing professional development, and the potential for career growth within the organisation.
Hours of work:
Shift pattern - 4on 4off Days & Nights - 07:00am to 19:00pm & 19:00pm to 07:00am.
Key duties & Responsibilities:
* Carry out PPM, Reactive or first line response to the following:
* Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
* Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers
* BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
* Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
* Maintain and update Logbooks
* Working to Planned Preventative and Reactive maintenance regimes
* Changing taps/washers
* Install and replace hot water cylinders, pipework, Boilers, Temperature check the repair and servicing of mechanical & electrical (M&E) equipment
Requirements:
* Completion of a recognised Mechanical industry qualification preferably an apprenticeship (i.e. C&G, NVQ).
* Previous experience working in a similar working environment or building maintenance role is essential.
* Must have good customer facing skills to include an understanding of customer related issues.
* Have an understanding of HVAC & mechanical plant workloads and issues.
* Good and broad knowledge of health and safety.
* Ideally Computer literate with a working knowledge of MS office system/BMS.
* Healthcare experience would be highly desirable (Not essential).
* Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates.

* £42,000 per annum
* 20 Days Holiday
* Overtime is available at a rate of 1.5
