Goods-In Inspector Responsibilities:
* Oversee incoming goods to ensure deliveries are complete and match purchase orders and delivery notes
* Inspect incoming goods for quality and ensure all goods are as described and compliance
* Inform the Goods-In Manager and other departments of discrepancies or faults with incoming goods
* Handle all administration tasks related to incoming deliveries and checking them in on the system
* Coordinate deliveries and ensure they are correctly allocated in the warehouse
* Monitor outgoing goods to ensure they meet the quality expected and customer needs
* Conduct QHSE inspections and audits on incoming and outgoing goods, recording your findings and producing reports
Goods-In Inspector Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience in goods-in management or a similar quality-focused role, ideally gained within the manufacturing sector
* A CQI Level 3 qualification and experience of ISO management standards would be beneficial
* Familiar with inventory management systems and processes
* Flexible and adaptable, with strong organisation and multitasking skills, able to priortise workloads
* Strong problem-solver, able to use initiative and address issues
* Attention to detail and able to keep accurate records
