We are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning practice based in Penn who are looking for an experienced IFA Administrator to join their team.
Key Requirements and Skills:
1. Good team working and liaison skills to deal effectively with tasks set and provide support for other team members
2. An understanding of FCA regulations and guidelines relating to financial services clients
3. Willingness to continue to develop knowledge of products and related issues through formal and informal learning
4. Good communication skills (written and verbal) that are effective and meet business needs
5. Ability to prioritise and organise own workload
6. Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
7. IT skills commensurate with computer packages used in this industry and knowledge of Intelligent Office would be beneficial
8. Accuracy of work and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
9. New business submission and tracking to conclusion
10. Day to day client management, processing any queries which may arise
11. Administration of Group Pension schemes
12. Administration of Group Risk Schemes
13. Liaising with clients, product providers and other relevant third parties
14. Ensure back offices systems are kept up to date including client and provider data
15. Issue Letters of Authority, chase for policy information, build schedules & put existing policies on the system
16. Obtaining illustrations and supporting literature
17. Supporting the Financial Planners in research and analysis to meet client needs and objectives
18. Be conversant with, and adhere to, Company procedures and policies and the requirements of the FCA Standards and Rules and to implement and maintain procedures as stipulated in accordance with the Rules of the FCA
