The Role: Due to continual growth within our expanding business, an opportunity has arisen for a Senior Electrician to join our dynamic installations team. The role will be based at our Head Office although most of the time (75%) will be spent out on site and will involve supporting all other electricians while working on site in a hands-on role. You will be supervising the expanding teams and reporting to the Project Implementation Manager and providing feedback and general support to them also. You and the role: This role is a full time (permanent) position. You must be happy to work away from home, with frequent travel across the UK. You must be able to work both as part of a team and with minimal supervision. You should be able to demonstrate your experience in small/medium size electrical installations. You must work in a safe manner, ensuring the Health and Safety of both you and others. You must be able to help source materials and provide quotations when required. You must be able to manage projects and teams in a safe and professional manor. You will undertake daily safety and maintenance checks and complete appropriate documentation. You will report directly to the Project Implementation Manager You should be able to diagnose faults and carry out effective and efficient repairs of Electrical Installations. You will adopt good general housekeeping, personal presentation, and timekeeping. You should be able to demonstrate accurate and timely record keeping. Skills and Qualifications: Full, clean driving licence. Practical experience working within client environments (essential). Awarded Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations (Buildings and Structures) or equivalent. IET Requirements for Electrical Installations to BS 7671:2018A2:2022 (18th Edition) is required. Level 3 Award in Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection & Testing of Electrical Installations Course (C&G 2391-52). IPAF, Asbestos Awareness, PASMA, and other additional training relevant for this position an advantage, although this will be provided as required.
