As a KFS Account Manager you will be the link between our valued customers and our team of forensic scientists supporting criminal investigations.
As the old cliché goes, no two days are the same. The role is interesting, demanding and rewarding in equal measure. One day you could be meeting with a toxicologist, biologist, chemist or drugs expert to resolve a query, on another day you could be conducting a review meeting with one of our customers or preparing a management information report.
The right person may not have a background in forensic science or account management, if you do that’s great, but it’s not essential. This is not a sales job, the successful candidate will be one who is committed, demonstrates integrity, has a genuine interest in forensic science, thrives in a close-knit team environment and cares about the job they do.
The Account Manager will manage the day-to-day customer relationship, acting as a primary point of contact to resolve customer and internal queries, including the production of management information.
Duties & Responsibilities
The Account Manager will:
•Manage the day-to-day relationship with existing accounts enhancing relationships with key customer contacts
•Adhere to contractual requirements such as Performance Monitoring Systems to include reporting of defined KPI’s and Management Information.
•Advocate of quality and proactively support the quality management process.
•Attend and present at external customer and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development
•Ensure there is a high level of customer awareness of Key Forensics’ services & product portfolio
•Where requested, undertake specific projects and report findings
Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment

Qualifications
* Education to A-level standard or equivalent is desirable.

Experience
* Whilst not essential, the successful applicant will have some experience in a customer facing role and/or knowledge of the UK Criminal Justice System.
Full Time
Salary £30k - £35K per annum
Holidays – 25 days per annum plus statutory holidays (pro rata)
