You will have a background in accounting, taxation, and financial reporting, with a focus on working within an accountancy practice. This is an opportunity to experience career progression. As Semi-Senior Accountant you will be providing a supportive role to managers across a diverse client portfolio which will see you working across a range of taxes and accounts across a range of sectors. Key Attributes Required: As Accounts Semi-Senior you will have the following attributes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build client relationships Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage deadlines Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel High attention to detail and accuracy Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Client-focused with a proactive attitude Person Specification: AAT or studying for ACA or ACCA (or equivalent). If you meet the criteria but are not studying, you are still welcome to apply You will have a minimum of 3 year's experience in an accountancy practice, with exposure to a diverse client portfolio You will have proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations Proven ability to prepare financial statements, tax returns, VAT returns for manager review Key Responsibilities: Client Management: Maintain clients' financial records by using the latest digital software (e.g. Xero and QuickBooks) and innovative tools / apps.
