1. Inspecting all personnel for whom they are responsible at intervals in line with the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence guidelines and providing follow-up treatment as required.
2. Working collaboratively with professional colleagues and in the best interest of patients.
3. Ensuring that surgery management, documentation including consumable stores, the safe custody of personal sensitive data, and the maintenance of equipment is always kept to a high standard.
4. Onward referral of personnel to enhanced practitioners, specialists, or consultants for treatment as appropriate.

Additional Information:
There will be no reimbursement for any travel expenses for the interview. This is a Fixed-term Appointment as a Civilian Dental Practitioner in the Larkhill Dental Centre. This post will therefore begin on your appointment and end on 31/03/2025.
If you are a permanent MoD civil servant and are found successful for an advertised Fixed-term Appointment (FTA), you should move into the post under a Temporary Transfer (for up to a maximum of 3 years). If transferring to MoD from another government department (OGD), you should join the MoD on an inward loan.
All employees joining the Ministry of Defence who are new to the Civil Service will be subject to a 6-month probation period effective from the employment start date. Successful candidates must meet the security requirements before they can be appointed. The level of security needed is a Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
The successful applicant will have contact with patients and service users. In line with the NHS England approach, MOD is in the process of making full vaccination a condition of deployment for its healthcare workers employed across the UK.
