We are wanting to appoint a qualified school-based counsellor, to provide a counselling service, primarily in a secondary school setting, but also including cluster primary schools from Year 6. In addition, provide a counselling service to school based students on an individual casework basis, through a confidential appointments system, drop-in service and on-line counselling as required.
We welcome applications from those who hold a Professional Diploma in Counselling and are accredited/registered with the BACP or UKCP or equivalent to commence immediately subject to interview and D.B.S. check.
You will join the team at an exciting time as we move forward in managing the counselling service in house. We have a friendly, lively and innovative Educational Psychologist and School Based Counselling Team who are committed to assisting the LEA in the achievement of increased inclusion and raising educational standards.
