* Conduct IP Research and Analysis. Perform comprehensive IP searches, including clearance, freedom-to-operate (FTO) and infringement assessments, providing insights and risk analyses to internal stakeholders.
* Draft and Review IP Documents. Draft and review a variety of legal documents, such as IP assignment agreements, confidentiality agreements, licensing contracts, and cease-and-desist letters.
* Collaborate with Internal Teams. Work closely with R&D, marketing, and product teams to provide proactive IP advice, ensuring IP protection strategies align with both business goals and the latest laws or regulations.
* Support IP Disputes and Litigation. Assist in handling internal records for rare instances of IP litigation or disputes, liaising with external counsel, and preparing relevant documentation, including evidence, witness statements, and legal filings.
* Monitor IP Assets. Regularly supervise the use and protection of the company’s IP assets, alerting the business to any potential infringements or unauthorized use.

* Proficient in Legal Software and Tools. Experience using IP management software, legal databases, and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with IP docketing systems is a plus.
* Proactive and Team-Oriented. Ability to take initiative, work independently, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and product development.
