Job Title: Secondary Science Tutor Location: South East England, Berkshire, Wokingham Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Skills: SEN experience Job Duties: - Plan and deliver engaging secondary science lessons to students - Provide individualised support to students with special educational needs (SEN) - Create and implement educational activities to enhance students' understanding of science concepts - Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive learning environment Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Science Education, Biology, Chemistry) Education: - Bachelor's degree in Science Education or related field Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting - Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN) Knowledge and Skills: - Strong knowledge of the secondary science curriculum - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students - Proficient in using educational technology to enhance learning Working Conditions: - Part-Time hours, temporary position - Work in a secondary school environment - Potential for flexible working hours - Collaborative work with other teaching staff All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
