At Cheltenham Ladies’ College, we aim to provide a strong support network for every one of our pupils. Around 700 students will board with us in one of our 11 Sixth Form and Junior Boarding Houses, and your role will be at the heart of our pastoral care as you join one of the dedicated, professional teams working under the direction of a Houseparent.
In addition to looking after our students’ wellbeing, you will help with the day-to-day running of the house. You may have experience in a similar role, but it is not essential. We are interested in those who can demonstrate a genuine interest in the development and welfare of young people, have common sense, a flexible attitude, and enjoy working as part of a team. Full training will be given.
Closing date for receipt of applications is Monday 20 January 2025 (12.30pm).
Interviews will be held Tuesday 28 January 2025.
Applications will be considered as they are received, and the College reserves the right to appoint at any time in the process.
We welcome female applicants only as this is a girls’ boarding school. This is a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with schedule 9, part 1 of the Equality Act.
Cheltenham Ladies' College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
