Are you a Physiotherapist with an interest in Pain? Do you want to lend your expertise to improving the lives of patients living with chronic pain?
Then we invite you to apply for this fantastic opportunity in our Integrated Pain Team at Broomfield Hospital.
Utilising and building on your wider physiotherapy assessment skills from experience in musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, inpatient, outpatient and community practices you will assess a varied nature of chronic pain presentations.
You will also have an opportunity to be involved in regular multidisciplinary team meetings, joint working with colleagues including supervision and training, to improve our patients' outcomes.
Main duties of the job
If successful, some of your duties will include:
* Assessment, management and caseload of pain patients, some of which may be complex, working within a biopsychosocial approach.
* Support people in improving their function and living well with pain and strategies to manage persistent conditions.
* Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and team meetings.
* Mentorship and supervision of junior staff members.
* Support the day-to-day running of the pain physiotherapy service.
* Collaborative working within the wider MSE pain team.

* Experience in chronic pain management.
* Previous involvement in audit process.
* Awareness of psychological approaches to chronic pain management demonstrated through work history or supporting information.
