About the practice
They pride ourselves on close collaboration, strong communication, and an open-minded approach to continuously improve the practice. The partner and Lead Vet work closely with our Head RVN and Practice Manager to foster a welcoming atmosphere where everyone’s ideas are valued.
Conveniently located close to the town, offering great amenities nearby, including eateries and a designer outlet—perfect for a refreshing lunch break. Situated in the picturesque market town of Braintree, Essex, you’ll experience a balance of countryside charm and city convenience. With easy access to London by train (just 1 hour) and proximity to two airports and a ferry port, Braintree is a well-connected hub.
About You
This role is ideal for a vet confident with routine consults and general practice presentations, looking for a new challenge and the chance to expand their skill set. They would welcome those interested in leadership roles or mentoring, and fully support CPD in any clinical area you wish to explore. The caseload offers a variety of surgeries, and they also work with visiting orthopedic and cardiology specialists who are happy to support your growth in these areas.
15-minute standard consults, longer appointments for emergencies, and daily “on the day” slots give you the time and flexibility to provide exceptional client care. The team values accuracy, client trust, and a proactive approach to case management.
Role Details
• Full-Time or Part-Time: Flexible options to suit your needs, including job-sharing arrangements.
• Hours: Standard full-time is 4 days/week, with flexibility on working patterns.
• Weekend Rota: 1 in 4, with sole charge required on weekends only.
• Customizable Schedule: Open to discuss alternative patterns, including blocks of working weeks with time off.
