Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the Social Media Manager in the planning and execution of BEAUTY BAY’s Organic Social channel strategies from content creation through to community management and performance analysis.
2. Responsible for scheduling and posting across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.
3. Support the Senior Exec and Manager with reporting and analytics by sharing key performance insights from channels and identifying actionable opportunities.
4. Collaborate with the full Social team to develop Content plans, ensuring these are reflective of key brand and trading priorities alongside channel best practices.
5. Responsible for in-house content creation for organic channels, from ideation through to delivery.
6. Contribute to community management ensuring consistent, regular responses across all channels.
7. Support the Social Media Assistant by collaborating on BAU tasks, working together to share responsibility to ensure the team output is delivered to a high standard.
8. Represent the Brand team as a brand guardian, proactively championing content, trend, and community insights in wider forums and collaborating with the wider Brand team on the ideation of opportunities to grow brand awareness.
9. Proactively research, collate, and share opportunities and learnings from the social media industry and high-performing brands to ensure BEAUTY BAY is always ahead of the trend curve and working to best practices.
Skills/Experience/Knowledge Needed:
1. Experience within a Social Media Assistant/Executive role is essential (2-3 years).
2. Experience within Content Creation & Social Media reporting is advantageous.
3. Retail/E-Commerce experience is highly desirable.
4. Ability to work independently as well as part of a wider Social & Brand Team.
5. Experience working within the Beauty/Cosmetics industries is advantageous.
6. Strong understanding of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint).
