Market leading company Cardiff are seeking a Management Accountant.
Overview of the role:
1. Produce monthly management accounts to the agreed reporting timetable for a number of business units.
2. Produce annual budgets and forecasts.
3. Support budget holders with analysis and review of the accounts.
4. Produce balance sheet reconciliations.
5. Maintain fixed asset registers.
6. Prepare quarterly VAT returns.
7. Coordinating information from overseas operations.
8. Produce monthly journal postings to the general ledger.
9. Any Ad Hoc analysis or statistics as required.
10. An aptitude for working with different software packages, including spreadsheets and database applications.
11. A proactive approach to problem solving.
12. Accuracy and attention to detail.
13. The ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
14. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
15. The ability to interact with financial and non-financial managers at different levels.
