Training Coordinator organizes, develops, conducts, and maintains records for training sessions for employees at all levels on topics pertinent to job positions. This position is key in ensuring employees receive training so they are able to perform their duties at a high level to provide supports and services to the individuals we support and to further develop the skills of our workforce. Start rate is $21.50 per hour. This is a full-time position and is eligible for our great benefits. Employees may be eligible for retention bonuses up to $2000 through the second year of employment.
Responsibilities:
1. Organization, coordination, and development of training for staff in areas of I/DD, drug and alcohol-free workplace, Health and Safety Institute CPR/First Aid/AED, the Mandt System, safety, new employee orientation and onboarding, ANE, and other related training areas.
2. Assist with HR functions.
3. Meet all requirements of the position, including obtaining and maintaining certification at instructor level for Health and Safety Institute and the Mandt System.
Minimum Requirements:
1. High school diploma (or equivalent) and two years of relevant experience.
2. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Psychology, Social Work, Education, or a closely related field preferred.
3. Must be able to conduct evening training sessions as scheduled.
