Full Time, Monday to Friday (9am – 5pm) 37.5 Hours per week
Pay: Up to £45,000.00 per year

Active Pathways are currently recruiting for a compassionate Ward Manager to join The Hamptons in Bamber Bridge, close to Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as an integral part of the team ensuring the individuals we support can live as independently as possible.

You will have the necessary skills to lead, support and manage staff, and be visible and accessible to service users, their families, primary care, acute and community health and social care, as well as the voluntary sector.

ABOUT THE HAMPTONS
The Hamptons is a purpose-built 14 bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Preston, Lancashire. This first-class facility provides accommodation for men who experience a complex range of mental health issues and require long-term support and treatment within a controlled environment.
Admission Criteria:
* Men aged 18+
* Detained under the Mental Health Act
* With a primary diagnosis of mental illness or personality disorder
* May have a secondary diagnosis of substance misuse, acquired brain injury or Learning Disability
* May have a forensic history
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
* Must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a valid NMC PIN.
* Strong leadership skills and experience managing other qualified professionals.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
* Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to provide safe and effective patient care.
* A resilient mindset.
* Experience within an inpatient setting is desirable.
* £1000 at 3 month probation then £1000 at 6 month successful probation.
