Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic team administrator to join the Adult Learning Disability Enhancing Physical Health team, as a team administrator, who are currently in the process of merging with the Durham and Darlington Health Facilitation team.
This role is a full-time permanent position working hours Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
Main duties of the job
The main responsibilities of the role will to be to provide full administrative support to the clinical team.
Applicants must have a good education, secretarial skills, sound IT knowledge and experience, with competency in Microsoft Office packages being essential.
The ability to communicate effectively with patients who may experience communication difficulties is an essential requirement of the role. Also required is a methodical and flexible approach to work, good team working skills, the willingness to perform repetitive tasks accurately and to remain calm under pressure.

Qualifications
Essential
1. Level 3 Qualification in relevant field or equivalent experience or willingness to work towards Level 3 qualification in Leadership and Management
2. Key skills/functional skills in literacy and numeracy Level 2 OR O Level (Grade C and above/New GCSE in Maths and English (Grade 4 to 9) are an essential requirement to be fully competent in the role.
Desirable
3. Level 3 Qualification in Leadership and Management
4. RSA Level 2 or equivalent Secretarial/administrative experience in a clinical environment
Experience

5. Experience of working in an administrative environment (diary management, filing systems, meeting coordination, minute talking, data input, collating and presenting information)
6. Customer Service experience (face to face, answering calls, correspondence)
7. Experience of organising completing demands and workloads
8. Experience of setting up and maintenance of administrative systems and processes
9. Experience of working autonomously and proactively
