Skilled Careers are currently working with a market-leading multi-disciplinary property consultancy structural and civil engineering company based in London. They currently require a strong Bid Manager to oversee the end-to-end bid process, including producing winning proposals.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist Directors in identifying and developing new business opportunities.
* Monitor public sector framework sites.
* Lead on framework and bid submissions.
* Analyse tender documents to understand the needs of the client.
* Plan bid preparation to ensure that deadlines are met.
* Liaise with other managers to agree on bid details.
* Prepare case studies and other reference materials.
* Edit or rewrite previous tenders to reuse relevant material.
* Collate materials provided by various departments and ensure a uniform tone across the overall document.
* Ensure that the bid is accurate and delivered on time.
* Build relationships with clients & partners.
* Evaluate existing partnerships and markets with an eye toward building on what works and changing what doesn’t.
* Drive business development engagement and CRM management.
* Monitor BD approaches and follow-ups.
* Manage key client relationships and work to build new ones.
* Work with Creative to expand the profile and reach of the company.
* Develop and manage sales, marketing, customer service, and client relationship management teams.
* Track emerging market trends.
* Research and identify new markets.
* Identify sponsorship opportunities, including nonprofit engagement.
* Work with the creative team to implement brand and social media initiatives.
* Identify potential competition opportunities, drive the production of technical content, and lead submissions.
* Promote company culture.
