Working within the AV team and assisting the Account Managers in providing Audio Visual design, specifications and detailed quotation/proposals. Must be a self-starter and motivator with strong attention to detail.
The ideal applicant should possess knowledge of AV/VC technology and system operation to provide sales support to the AV team and provide costs and design, scope of works, and work with the AV Team.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Good technical knowledge and understanding of AV equipment and system design/operation, including the latest products and technology.
2. Knowledge and understanding of Video Conference system operation and Infrastructure to include (Polycom/Poly, Cisco, MS Teams, Zoom, Logitech, Tandberg, Lifesize) – not mandatory but useful.
3. Basic knowledge in understanding Control systems operation (Crestron, AMX, Extron).
4. Knowledge and understanding of IT networks and system infrastructure (SIP, VOIP, DANTE).
5. Understanding of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Projects, etc.
6. Implementation of A/V systems with installation support.
7. Assist in performing site surveys and installations of various Audio, Video, and Control systems.
8. Attend customer support visits when necessary.
9. Good verbal and written communication skills, time management, and organization skills.
10. Requirement to improve training and skills through continuous improvement following the company training policy.
11. It is expected that applicants on the most part will be working with client support and IT calls, based in the office with the possible requirement to travel within EMEA regions and in some cases further afield.
SKILLS BUT TRAINING PROVIDED:
1. CTS/CTS-I/CTS-D Certification. (AV Team currently progressing with CTS Certification)
2. Familiarity with Polycom VC/DSP, Cisco VC, AMX, Crestron, Hybrid Collaboration Systems including Microsoft Teams, Zoom.
3. Basic tools to work with dedicated system programmers – for example, Soundstructure Studio and Crestron Toolbox.
