Our children come from a wide range of backgrounds, but all have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH). In Compass Schools, we believe all teachers are, primarily teachers of children, before being teachers of subjects. Central to this role is knowing the child, building professional, nurturing and positive relationships and motivating students. Despite being a secondary provision, we require a teacher who is versatile and can teach across a range of curriculum subjects from KS2 – KS4. Accordingly, this role will suit a primary or secondary trained teacher.
