We have a position available with The River Dee Trust as an Assistant Biologist. This role will support the delivery of catchment monitoring and research, to guide restoration work and species conservation. This is a permanent position and is both field- and office-based.
For this role, we are seeking someone experienced in undertaking fieldwork for collection of data, able to use GIS and with a detailed understanding of freshwater biology. Further specifications are explained in the link below.
This is an opportunity to be part of a team focused on delivering innovative, landscape-scale conservation and restoration programmes in the Cairngorms region of the Scottish Highlands. The role is based at the River Office in Dinnet with the option of hybrid home-office working.
