JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Tutor Location: South East England, Berkshire, Wokingham Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time hours Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring to students with special educational needs (SEN) Develop and implement tailored teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social development Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements Required Qualifications: Previous experience working with students with SEN Understanding of different learning styles and ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a similar role Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of Special Educational Needs (SEN) strategies and interventions Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning environments Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications: Additional qualifications in Special Education or SEN support Training in specific learning disabilities or behavioural disorders Working Conditions: Work in a school setting with flexible hours based on student needs All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
