What will I be doing?
As our Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you’ll report to the Head of Quality Assurance, playing a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and reliable test automation frameworks across multiple platforms. You’ll proactively identify automation opportunities to help improve efficiency, ensuring the highest quality standards for our platforms and systems.
As part of your everyday role, you’re likely to be involved in the following:
* Designing, implementing and maintaining automation frameworks for current applications.
* Designing and implementing CI/CD processes for automation purposes.
* Writing, maintaining and executing performance tests on internal systems.
* Providing guidance and mentorship to other Software Developers.
* Driving initiatives to enhance automation capabilities within the QA team.
* Collaborating with stakeholders to identify key automation opportunities.
* Working closely with product engineering teams to improve test environments and data.
What are we looking for?

Ideally, we’re looking for:
* Demonstrated experience as an automation engineer.
* Expertise in designing, planning, and implementing automated testing frameworks for collaborative teams.
* Hands-on experience with various UI and API automation frameworks including Cypress.
* Familiarity with Cucumber and Gherkin.
* Knowledgeable with CI/CD processes, version control, and pipeline tools, preferably GitLab.
* Knowledge of performance testing tools, ideally K6/Grafana.
* Experience with test management platforms and reporting, preferably Xray.
* Skilled in analysing logs, metrics, and traces, with experience in data monitoring tools like DataDog a plus.
* Familiarity with project management and defect tracking tools, preferably JIRA.
* Experience of Appium (a bonus).
