About the Role Following significant growth in the technology sector, CDGL is seeking a driven and ambitious Account Manager to join our sales team, focusing on customer retention and sales growth. As we continue to build on our success, your role will be pivotal in strengthening relationships with existing clients while identifying new opportunities to fuel our expansion. Reporting directly to the Key Account Manager and Head of Sales, you will play a key part in managing and growing a portfolio of accounts. Your primary goal will be to retain and develop client relationships, driving sales growth by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Account Management & Growth : Proactively manage and expand a portfolio of existing accounts, cultivating long-term, successful relationships with clients to drive repeat business and growth. Sales Growth : Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities to increase revenue and maximize account profitability. Collaboration : Work closely with the Key Account Manager, Sales Support, and other teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from inquiry to order fulfilment. Strategic Campaigns : Participate in or lead sales campaigns designed to drive business growth and expand market share. Market Insight & Pricing Strategy: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies to ensure competitive offerings and optimize profitability. Sales Conversion: Handle inbound enquiries, generate quotes, and process orders efficiently, ensuring all sales opportunities are captured and converted. Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate with marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure a smooth and consistent customer experience. CRM Management: Maintain accurate CRM records, tracking customer interactions and opportunities to ensure timely follow-up and sales success. Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Key Account Manager and Head of Sales, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) such as account growth, retention, and sales performance. Skills & Experience : Proven track record in consultative sales, with experience in managing customer accounts and driving sales growth. Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets. Ability to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize account revenue. Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset to optimize sales strategies and customer solutions. Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is a plus; familiarity with NetSuite is desirable but not essential (training will be provided). Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with internal teams and external clients.
