JOB DESCRIPTION: Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Fitter / Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Technician
As a Maintenance Engineer / Fitter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery. Your primary responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and implementing repairs to minimize downtime.
Your main responsibilities include:
· Reacting to breakdowns of machines in our workshop.
· Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on machinery and equipment.
· Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues promptly.
· Perform repairs, replacements, and upgrades as needed.
· Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
· Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
· Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Fitter / Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Technician
You are a proactive and self-motivated individual that can react and adapt in a Manufacturing / Production environment when problems arise. You're a team player with good Mechanical knowledge and experience that is eager to learn.
You will also:
· Be Mechanically trained with aptitude and problem-solving skills.
· Have Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems would be advantageous.
· Possess the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
· Be familiar with health and safety regulations.
· Have the relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, apprenticeship).
