The Opportunity
Due to increasing demand, we are looking for a Senior EC&I Engineer to support various Nuclear projects. You’ll join a well-established engineering consultancy that has delivered projects across the majority of nuclear-licensed sites in the UK. With support from a wider European network, this role provides an excellent stepping stone into a senior position within the nuclear industry, working alongside highly skilled and passionate experts.

Your duties and responsibilities will be
* Lead or support EC&I design projects from concept to commissioning
* Produce technical documentation and drawings to project standards
* Plan and coordinate design tasks efficiently
* Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.
You will have the following qualifications and experience
* HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Control, or similar Engineering discipline
* Experience working in a highly regulated environment (Nuclear experience desirable)
* Familiarity with AMTECH ProDesign, AutoCAD, or BIM projects
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
* Confident communicator with the ability to engage with stakeholders
* Security Clearance – Candidates must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to obtain security clearance.
The setting of the role
This role is primarily office-based, but site visits may be required. Working on nuclear-licensed sites involves adherence to strict safety protocols related to radiation, high voltage equipment, chemicals, and industrial hazards. Full training and site inductions will be provided.
