A position as Engineer on the Tugs has arisen with Marine Services and Transportation. The authority operates three ASD tugs in Scapa Flow, Orkney.
Applications are invited from candidates with either STCW III/2 (or 3) Chief Engineer tugs up to 6000kW near coastal area, or further advanced, or alternatively, STCW III/2 or III/3, Second Engineer up to 6000Kw near costal area.
Candidates must hold STCW Short Course Certificates and an ENG1 medical certificate or have the ability to obtain one.
You should be able to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Orkney to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
