Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Stockport Job Type: Contract, Full-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £85 - £95 Per day Job Description: As a Teaching Assistant based in Stockport, Greater Manchester, you will provide support to teachers in delivering educational programmes and assisting students in their learning activities. Your role will involve working with individual students or small groups, helping to reinforce learning concepts, assisting with classroom management, and providing additional support to students with special educational needs. Job Duties: Supporting teachers in planning and delivering lessons Assisting students with their learning tasks Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment Providing one-to-one support to students with special needs Assisting with classroom supervision and behaviour management Preparing educational materials and resources Required Qualifications: Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths Recognised Teaching Assistant qualification DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: Previous experience working in a similar role within an educational setting Good understanding of educational practises and principles Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: Additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN) First Aid certification Working Conditions: You will be working in a school environment during school hours, following the academic calendar.
