As a Pediatric Milk Kitchen Assistant in Children's Services, you will be joining a diverse and stimulating department. This is an excellent opportunity to join the existing team to provide a service for children and young people requiring specialist milk feeds prepared to current British Dietetic Association Guidelines and Trust policies. All training will be provided within the Trust, therefore, experience is not required. However, an attitude to learn and develop new skills is essential, along with excellent communication skills. Main duties of the job To carry out safe, hygienic specialist milk feed preparation to current British Dietetic Association Guidelines and Trust policies. To provide stock control and maintenance of the Milk Kitchen, milk store room and expressing facilities. To liaise with Nursing, Medical and Dietetic staff, ensuring all patients' nutritional requirements are met.
