Gateway to Homechoice is a choice-based lettings scheme for council and housing association properties in the following eight local authority areas;
1. Babergh
2. Braintree
3. Colchester
4. East Suffolk
5. Ipswich
6. Maldon
7. Mid Suffolk
The 7 authorities in the scheme advertise vacancies in rented social housing using the same IT system and adhering to the same allocations policy
We are looking for an innovative and flexible Business Support Administrator with good all round IT skills.
The role will primarily involve providing administrative support to the Gateway to Homechoice Partnership including the Co-ordinator. Based within Colchester Borough Homes.
Tasks will range from supporting meetings to running reports and updating databases. Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your work will be essential.
You will have a positive can-do attitude and an ability to communicate at all levels, and through all forms. It is essential that you can manage a large and varied workload and can evidence this with previous experience.
The role will be providing support across the Gateway to Homechoice area and will occasionally require you to be able to travel between our offices and other local authorities within the Gateway to Homechoice area of operation which includes Babergh, Braintree, Maldon, Ipswich, Mid Suffolk, Suffolk Coastal and Waveney.
