EA Associates are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Windows & Doors Manufacturing Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the manufacturing operations of the window & door production facility. They will oversee production / manufacturing planning, resource allocation, quality assurance, and workforce management while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company objectives.
Requirements:
1. Experience - Minimum of 5 years in window / doors manufacturing management, or a related industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Production Management
1. Oversee the entire window manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished products.
2. Ensure efficient production scheduling to meet customer demands and deadlines.
3. Monitor production output, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
4. Implement and improve lean manufacturing practices to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
Quality Control & Compliance
1. Ensure all windows meet company and industry quality standards.
2. Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain high-quality output.
3. Work with the team to identify defects and implement corrective actions.
4. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industry regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO standards).
Workforce & Team Management
1. Supervise and lead production staff, including training and performance evaluation.
2. Set clear work expectations and assign responsibilities to shift supervisors and workers.
3. Motivate and coach employees to maintain high productivity and morale.
4. Ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Equipment & Maintenance Oversight
1. Monitor factory machinery and ensure all equipment is properly maintained.
2. Coordinate with the maintenance teams to schedule preventive maintenance and minimize downtime.
3. Evaluate the need for new technology or machinery upgrades to improve production efficiency.
Supply Chain & Inventory Management
1. Oversee raw material inventory and ensure timely procurement to avoid shortages.
2. Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and excess stock.
Cost & Budget Control
1. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
2. Ensure optimal use of resources to maximize profitability.
Health & Safety Compliance
1. Enforce workplace safety policies and conduct regular safety training.
2. Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
3. Investigate workplace accidents and implement measures to prevent future incidents.
Process Improvement & Innovation
1. Analyse production output to identify areas for improvement.
2. Implement new technologies or automation where feasible.
3. Continuously seek innovative solutions to enhance product quality and factory efficiency.
