About the Role
As a Nanofabrication Process Engineer you will work on cutting edge technology as OQC continues to build and design the future of quantum processors. You'll get the chance to work alongside a fantastic team of quantum and Nanofabrication engineers, and gain unique experience in a deep-tech industry.
* Working alongside a highly skilled team to develop and optimise fabrication processes for superconducting quantum device applications.
* Focusing on maintaining and improving process stability across multiple points in the fabrication cycle; such as lithography, wet/dry etch and metal deposition. This is a process sustaining role in the clean room.
* Performing yield analysis and in-line metrology to assist in device fabrication process optimisation, and present process data to colleagues.
* Collaborate with other engineers, technicians and material scientists to develop solutions that benefit device performance and quality.
* Ensure to document, implement and maintain cleanroom standards.
* Assist and/or lead in the bring-up of new fabrication equipment/capabilities.
Required Skills and Experience
* Professional experience working in nanofabrication or microfabrication.
* Experience in techniques such as photo and/or E-beam lithography (EBL), dry/wet etching, deposition, SEM, and ellipsometry.
* Strong wafer-scale fabrication process experience.
* Extensive experience in chemical handling and wet processing.
* Competence in forming good experimental design and data collection.
* Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation.
* Ability to identify risk when transitioning new processes to production.
