Cyber Security change in Army, is about continuously adapting and improving based on lessons, best practice and instigating culture change. The Army is undergoing significant cyber security change, coordinated by the Chief Security Officer and Principal Security Advisor. Cyber security change requires a dedicated lead to coordinate and manage the change to structure, activity, process and systems. This includes leading cyber security behavioural change and working closely with the wider team, delivering security culture change within the Army. Job description The Army Headquarters provides forces to support operations around the globe and directs, develops and delivers the people, equipment, training and sustainment to ensure the Army is ready to fight and win wars on land. Within the Army TLB Information Directorate, the Cyber and Security pillar has a diverse and highly capable workforce and we are looking for a talented and motivated individual to join us. As Cyber Security Change Manager, youll work to the Army Chief Security Officer, reporting to the Principal Security Advisor, within the Cyber and Security Team at Army Headquarters and be responsible for the leadership, management, functioning and outputs of the Cyber Security change pillar. This is a hugely interesting and influential post, offering both variety and challenge at a time of considerable cyber change within the Army; it provides plenty of opportunity for the right candidate, in conjunction with, and as part of, the Cyber and Security team, to develop and bring forward ideas and initiatives, to help ensure continuous cyber improvement in Army security, culture, awareness, behaviours and lessons. Responsibilities include: Working to the Principal Security Advisor and Chief Security Officer, oversee and project manage the cyber element of the Army Security Plan, ensuring all outputs and deliverables are achieved and maintained. Lead on project management of all aspects of Army cyber security outputs, including the leadership and management of the delivery elements of cyber security. This will include bringing disparate elements of cyber security across the Army together, under the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) function. Lead on the collaboration with MOD Directorate of Security and Resilience (DSR) on cyber matters, and Defence Digital (DD) Cyber Defence and Risk (CyDR) on defence-wide cyber security policies and programmes. Central to this role is driving alignment with Army cyber security programmes and the DD Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) and Cyber Resilience Programme (CRP). Cohere the cyber security roles within the Army CISO function, working to the Principal Security Advisor and optimising collaboration and delivery of cyber security outputs. Lead on lessons and analysis, driving improvements. This will include developing and improving communication on cyber security across Army TLB and driving coherence, alignment and cultural change. Oversee the development of the cyber element of the strategic security culture campaign and directly support the Security Culture Lead, to mature Army security culture. This will also include the delivery of ongoing communications campaigns to generate cyber improvements to Army security culture. Lead and line-manage a small team of military and civilian personnel. Person specification This position may be suitable for individuals with relevant skills and experience in project management, cyber security operations, change management in a complex environment, business analysis and/or a programmatic approach to delivering priorities. The successful candidate must be comfortable engaging with wider Defence, Government and industry. Attendance and participation at meetings, presentations and conferences across the UK will be required from time to time, including occasional overnight stays.
