Job Specification Sales Support Administrator The role of Sales Support Administrator is pivotal in our success and is the foundation on which we build strong and productive customer relationships. Key Duties: Sales Support: Work closely with allocated IAM to process orders from initiation to completion. Providing Exceptional Customer Service: Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally via phone and email Order Processing: Review and process customer purchase orders received via phone, email, and online platforms. Verify order accuracy, including product codes, quantities, pricing, and shipping information. Communication: Maintain regular communication with customers to confirm order details, provide updates on order status, and address any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. Operations Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and logistics, to coordinate order fulfilment and ensure timely delivery to customers. Problem Solving: Address and resolve any challenges related to orders, including discrepancies, delays, or special requests in collaboration with the IAM and other departments. Warehouse Liaison : Collaborate with the warehouse team to address miss picks and ensure accurate processing of returns. Maintain clear communication to resolve any discrepancies and maintain proper inventory records. Transportation Coordination : Work closely with the transport department to resolve delivery errors, coordinate product returns, and manage transportation logistics related to returned items. What we look for: Demonstrated experience in Sales administration, Sales support, and/or Customer Services roles Hands-on experience with CRM software and proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel. Understanding of sales performance metrics Excellent written and verbal communication skills, allowing for clear and concise communication with both internal teams and external customers. Familiarity with Order Works software would be advantageous, although not necessary, as full training will be provided for the successful candidate. Professional friendly telephone manner proactively using the phone to resolve issues as first method of resolution. Passionate about customer service and is committed to “making it happen”. Contributes to team meetings with fun and engaging ideas. Be able to commute to our Dartford Head Office and Warehouse 5 days a week.
