These challenges need the bold science we support, but they won’t be solved by science alone. We are looking for a Hard FM Services Manager to join our team. Where in Wellcome will I be working? You will be leading Hard FM services within the Facilities and Workplace Services department, reporting to Senior Manager, Building Services. The Facilites and Workplace Services team are responsible for the maintenance and Wellcome's operational buildings in the UK and for the services that are required to run them, e.g. catering, security, cleaning, etc. There are three main buildings: an owner-occupied office building, an owner-occupied cultural arts venue and library, and a leased warehouse facility. The team operate as an intelligent client on behalf of Wellcome, ensuring that its outsourced service partners are delivering the best services, within agreed performance levels. These facilities support Wellcome in carrying out its mission. What will I be doing? This role will work with our outsourced Hard FM service partner to ensure Wellcome's buildings and assets are maintained and service level agreements are being met. They will be responsible for driving and tracking the delivery of the contractual deliverables; managing performance SLAs; working closely with stakeholders, providing feedback and updates on tasks; ensuring coordination with other services; approving works and managing the Hard FM budget. As a Hard FM Services Manager you will : Manage the delivery of Hard Services by the Hard FM/M&E Service Partner (SP). This will include tracking the KPIs, analysing and reporting on data from the CAFM, undertaking contractual performance reviews and ensuring the service is being delivered in accordance with all contractual obligations. Be responsible for Hard FM budget planning & work/purchase order approvals, exercising cost control and manage expenditure, to work within the agreed operating budget Recommend changes to the commercial environment to support service improvement Contribute to a diverse and inclusive culture across the organisation, collaborating across departments. Is this job for me? We are looking for someone who : Has experience managing Hard FM services. Has experience of using CAFM systems, data and analytics to deliver outstanding service performance. Is pragmatic and has a delivery, results-focussed mindset - is comfortable being accountable for delivery and for holding supply partners to account for their delivery.
