A rare opportunity has arisen for a suitable candidate to join the team of Learning Support Assistants at Prince Henry’s High School. Whilst most of our learning support work is carried out with students in classroom situations, there may also be 1:1 or small group work required which will be aligned to the experience, interest or qualifications of the successful candidate.
This 1-1 work will take place in our Learning Support Department which has recently benefited from a major refurbishment in order to create a more nurturing environment for students with more complex needs.
Working hours will be from 9.00 am – 3.35pm from Monday to Friday (including unpaid morning & lunch breaks) during term-time, including TED Days (39 weeks/195 days per year, 0.8553 of full-year equivalent). The salary, adjusted for term-time working, will start at £16,300 per annum, based upon a full-time, full-year equivalent salary of £24,890.Prince Henry’s is a popular and over-subscribed 13-18 High School, with approximately 1,300 students on roll. Working as part of a team under the direction of the school’s SENDCO/Head of Learning Support and a member of our Senior Leadership team, training will be provided, if required.
