We are recruiting for a Payroll Officer to join a busy team where you will enjoy a varied role, responsible for all aspects of payroll and processing across a number of sites.
Duties:
1. Experience using Sage 50
2. Time and attendance administration: Creation of clock cards, identifying and reporting anomalies, calculating average holiday pay, ensuring alignment of associate holidays, and calculating zero lost time.
3. Inputting, processing, and administering all aspects of payroll and benefits.
4. Assisting with the checking of 4-weekly payroll for sign off, which will include producing reports, BACS submissions, and all third-party payments ensuring all transactions are auditable.
5. Calculating overtime, salary increases, shift payment, and benefits in accordance with payroll processing rules and procedures.
6. Supporting in all areas of Payroll general business administration.
7. Maintaining payroll processing documentation, spreadsheets, and guidance notes.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform role in accordance with all relevant quality standards and adhere to all relevant processes.
2. Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety requirements.
3. Ensure general housekeeping requirements are adhered to.
This is a busy and challenging role. Candidates' background will include previous payroll experience together with a proven history of building strong stakeholder relationships.
This is a full-time, permanent role – Monday to Friday (35 hours per week).
