About the Role
Are you ready to lead from the front and drive operational excellence? At NWH Group, we’re seeking a Service Delivery Manager for our Edinburgh operations to ensure optimal service delivery across trade waste, skip, and hook fleets. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction and efficiency, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our transport and operational teams deliver results aligned with our core values: Safety First, NWH Family, Aim Higher, Beyond Compliance, and Think National, Act Local.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the transport and order processing teams to optimise vehicle activity and achieve high customer satisfaction.
2. Ensure compliance with all road transport and health & safety legislation.
3. Oversee vehicle maintenance in collaboration with the Maintenance team.
4. Recruit, assess, and develop drivers, ensuring training plans and appraisals are in place.
5. Manage tachograph systems and adhere to driver hours regulations.
6. Monitor and report on departmental performance, ensuring KPIs are met.
7. Take full accountability for H&S compliance and profitability across designated sectors and sites.
8. Implement company policies, drive cultural alignment, and lead by example.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
9. Transport Manager CPC (or currently studying)
10. Knowledge of road transport legislation and geographical expertise
11. Excellent communication and team leadership skills
12. Positive attitude with a professional approach
13. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance
14. Desirable Qualifications:
15. SAFED training
16. IOSH Health & Safety certification
17. First Aid training
