Job Role: Sales Negotiator
Location: Chesterfield
Salary: £24,000 plus commission
Hours: 09:00 – 17:00, Monday – Friday (some Saturday work on rota)
We are seeking a full-time Sales Negotiator to join our client's successful Chesterfield branch. The role involves primarily office-based work within the Estate Agency, with customer-facing tasks and occasional visits to clients' homes for house presentations to potential buyers. The position is fast-paced and varied, requiring the ability to handle time-sensitive tasks. On Saturdays when you work, you will be given an afternoon off during the week, arranged by the branch manager.
The ideal candidate will be well-organized, comfortable engaging with diverse clients, and capable of managing their own sales processes through to completion. Excellent data recording and verbal communication skills are essential. The candidate should be a good overall communicator, a team player, forward-thinking, assertive, and positive to thrive in this dynamic industry.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory; a strong desire and passion to learn and succeed are crucial.
Full training will be provided upon joining, along with ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Taking calls and handling sales inquiries
2. Booking viewings and market appraisals
3. Managing all sales offers
4. Negotiating offers with vendors and buyers
5. Obtaining proof of funds from buyers
6. Preparing and issuing memoranda of sale
7. Managing the sales progression process
8. Conducting property viewings as needed
9. Assisting other Sales Negotiators
10. Prospecting for new business
11. Passing mortgage leads to advisors
