Do you have experience within a compliance management based role?
Do you have experience of managing data protection and freedom of information requests, including the need for confidentiality?
The Compliance and Risk team within Commercial Services Group are looking for a dedicated individual with strong attention to detail to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective support across the Group and for ensuring policies, processes and procedures are maintained in line with our legal, regulatory, and business requirements.

Key duties -
8. Assist with administering the risk management system, including maintaining risk registers and managing risks in line with the Group’s Risk Management Framework.
9. Oversee the Group’s policy management and control processes ensuring policies are accessible, effective, regularly reviewed and updated in line with required governance and published via the Group’s SharePoint site.
10. Provide support to the Group DPO Function on information governance and management of personal data in line with legal and regulatory requirements e.g. UK GDPR, including support with DPIA’s, LIA’s, ROPA’s and privacy notices for the Group.
11. Review and manage routine enquiries relating to Freedom of Information Act (FOI) requests and Data Protection related matters, including liaising with divisional leads, and maintaining appropriate logs for requests.
12. Support tracking of internal audit actions through to completion, including gathering evidence as part of a close-out review process.
What we need from you -
13. Proven experience of working within a compliance management role.
14. Strong knowledge of information governance, data protection and FOI requirements, including the need for confidentiality.
15. Ability to establish effective working relations with service managers and other key stakeholders at all levels.
16. Analytical skills including the ability to interpret and assess the implications of legislation, regulations, business and customer requirements.
17. A keen attention to detail and accuracy.
