Classification: Variable Hour, Non-Exempt
Job Summary: Report directly to the General Manager. The primary day-to-day purpose and focus of this position is largely dictated by the immediate needs of the company.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Work with the General Manager and HR to ensure staffing levels are maintained and to minimize hourly turnover.
2. Source, screen, and interview applicants using the competency-based interview guidelines found in the hiring guide and through the interview process.
3. Review and maintain an applicant tracking system.
4. Assist management team with maintaining staffing.
5. Conduct onboarding orientation of new team members. Ensure use, execution, maintenance, and administration of the onboarding process.
6. Investigate the applicability of out-of-scope. Secure customer's approval on the Daily Out of Scope form.
7. Daily timekeeping monitoring; identify and resolve exceptions and obtain appropriate approvals prior to closing payroll for the pay period to ensure accuracy.
8. Publish and post memos as requested by management. Maintain a “Read and Initial” communication system and ensure all employees periodically review.
9. Ensure corporate reports are forwarded to Corporate Headquarters, such as payroll change notices, profile changes.
10. Assist management with recruiting efforts, which includes coordinating advertising mediums, scheduling and/or conducting interviews, processing new hires, and scheduling classes for training and SIDA training, coordinating drug testing and background clearance.
11. Ensure OJI's are properly documented and sent to Corporate Headquarters.
12. Assist with purchasing as directed by management. Ensure purchase orders and/or approvals are obtained as required.
13. Adhere to company policies and procedures.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
1. Must have a High School diploma or GED.
2. Must be at least 18 years of age.
3. Able to proficiently speak, read, and write in English.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
5. Previous Administrative and payroll experience preferred.
6. Must successfully complete all training requirements and maintain certifications throughout employment.
7. Must clear an FBI fingerprint background check and obtain a custom seal.
8. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
9. Able to work and focus in a fast-paced environment.
10. Must be detail-oriented.
11. Must always be safety-minded while working.
12. Effectively communicate instructions, policies, and procedures others can follow.
13. Provide positive and constructive feedback.
14. Maintain an understanding of and follow all applicable federal, state, airport, and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
