Job summary The Medical Education Department at Hafan Derwen, Carmarthen are looking to recruit a Clinical Skills Co-ordinator. This exciting role is to provide technical support for clinical skills and simulation teaching for medical and physician associate students and medical staff at various levels in their training. The post also requires supporting student and junior doctor induction, general support in the department, some administrative tasks and working with colleagues on other sites. The applicant should demonstrate they work well within a team, with experience of working in a clinical environment an advantage. Excellent communication skills and a knowledge of administrative procedures and excellent technology and digital IT skills are also required. Training on the set up and maintenance of skills and simulation equipment will be given. The hours are less than full time (3 days a week) and requires some flexibility.
