CAMHS is part of the CYP-IAPT initiative, and the post holder will use Routine Outcome Measures to influence and evaluate all interventions offered. The Recovery team has bases in Derby City, Amber Valley and a team across Erewash and South Derbyshire. You will receive clinical and managerial supervision and have opportunity to work with the CAMHS improving access to psychological therapies development framework. We are looking for a suitably-experienced, qualified clinician, who will improve children and young peoples mental health, through providing highly specialist, clinical assessment and treatment within the CAMHS Recovery pathway. This will involve the assessment and treatment of children and young people who present with a wide range of mental health problems, including trauma, and co-morbid neuro-developmental conditions. In accordance with national and local priorities, clinical guidelines, the post holder will be responsive to the needs and views of local children, young people and their families. As a Lead Nurse / Practitioner the post holder will work in partnership with the CAMHS leadership team, Medical Consultants and multi-disciplinary teams, to ensure the highest level of clinical practice in assessment, case management, care co-ordination and treatment. They will be required to ensure that the best evidence-based care is given to children, young people and their families, within the resources available to the service. There will be an emphasis upon working with complex-presenting difficulties and multi-agency networks.
