Job Description:
Your responsibilities:
* Communicating effectively with clinicians, managers, directors, service users, carers/supporters, family members, stakeholders, and agencies.
* Providing compassionate and effective leadership to junior staff, including support staff and assistants.
* Ensuring the delivery of occupational therapy student placements.
* Supporting the completion of appraisals and personal development plans with junior staff.
* Developing and implementing appropriate policies, protocols, and care pathways.
To be a Successful Occupational Therapist you will need:
* An Occupational Therapy qualification.
* UK HCPC registration.
* Extensive relevant post-qualification clinical experience within an adult service.
* Experience applying occupational frames of reference and approaches.
* Strong clinical reasoning skills.
* Knowledge of assessment and treatment models.
