Are you an experienced Cyber professional ready to take the next step in your career? Do you have a strong background in cyber threat intelligence and training program development? Are you the type of person who thrives in a dynamic environment where each day brings new challenges and opportunities to make an impact? If so, come and join us at EDF as a Cyber Operations Specialist!
The Opportunity
As a Cyber Operations Specialist, you'll support the Cyber Threat Intelligence and Training, Communications, and Awareness functions. While expertise in one area is expected, you'll provide support across both, contributing to the development of intelligence services and the delivery of training and awareness initiatives.
What you’ll be doing
As a member of the Cyber Operations Team, you'll deliver Cyber Threat Intelligence Services to Nuclear Licensees, including identifying and analysing threats, providing intelligence reports, and offering recommendations to the business on appropriate actions. You'll produce strategic reports on threat actors and their methodologies to support improvement initiatives.
Additionally, you'll help to identify, record, and develop a training program for CS&IA personnel, aligned with the CIISec Skills Framework, contributing to the creation of a SQEP (Suitably Qualified and Experienced Person) Register. You’ll also help develop and deliver cyber security awareness campaigns, with regular communications on both strategic and targeted topics.
Who you are
You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience in delivering Cyber Threat Intelligence, including the use of relevant tools and methodologies, is key, as is suitable industry-recognised training or certification.
You’ll have a proven track record in developing training programs linked to a set of common competencies and skills (preferably the CIISec Skills Framework), and experience in running cyber awareness programs, including regular communications and messaging. A solid understanding of national and international frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO27000) will be important for success in this role.
If this sounds like you then we’d love to hear from you!
Closing date for applications: 7th May 2025.
Please note that candidates must be eligible for and willing to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance for this role.
