We are looking for an experienced finance professional for an exciting varied Accounts Assistant position based in Christchurch. If you have strong reconciliations experience, have worked with VAT returns and have good Excel and reporting skills, this could be the role for you. This exciting role can be offered on either a Full-Time or Part-Time (30 hours per week) basis.
Key Tasks
1. Processing of financial transactions
2. Bank reconciliations
3. Sales, purchase and general ledger operations
4. Preparation of reports and accounts
5. Assisting with VAT returns
6. Preparation of year-end working papers
7. Working with Group Finance and Estate/business teams to ensure accurate data, providing analysis and reports
This role offers a competitive salary of up to GBP30,000, 22 days holiday plus bank holidays and 6% employer pension contribution.
